Migrant visa NZ is to complete an online application. This shows interest to
apply for residence in New Zealand. You will claim points before submitting the
Expression of Interest to Immigration New Zealand, for qualifications, work
experience, age, etc.

The Immigration New Zealand selects the Expressions of
Interest with the highest point scores from the Pool. This process is called
selection.
It changes every fortnight and depends on the number of
migrants New Zealand is aiming to allow each financial year. Migrants with the
best applications are successful.
Preliminary assessment after successful selection of
Expressions of Interest from the Pool
Immigration New Zealand will check if the details submitted
by you in your Expressions of Interest and the applicants that have
successfully cleared this stage are legit, and then you will get an Invite to
submit the application for the Resident Visa.
Step 2: Your Resident Visa Application
At the beginning of the 2nd stage of the application
process, Immigration New Zealand will lodge your Application for a Resident
Visa with them.
You will have to submit proof for the claims in your
Expression of Interest with all the related documents in the set format.
Immigration New Zealand will then evaluate your application
as per the Government residence policy. They will also take into account the
desire to settle successfully and contribute to New Zealand’s social and
economic development.

ability to prove of permanently settling in New Zealand, which will help you to
establish yourself in skilled employment in New Zealand. Else your application
may be rejected.
